The quality of
Rachlin’s professional practice is of utmost importance
to the Firm, to clients and to the users of our reports.
At Rachlin, the "quality of our professional practice"
means we provide services that conform to professional standards.
Underlying this definition is the presumption that we also
consider the integrity of individuals in determining our
professional relationships.
To ensure that the Firm's performance is in
conformity with our stated standards and those issued
by the AICPA, our quality control system encompasses
the following:
|

Rachlin is a licensed certified public accounting firm.
The Firm is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida
Institute of Certified Public Accountants. All professional
staff, upon successful completion of the CPA exam, become
members of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified
Public Accountants. All key professional staff members are
licensed to practice in the State of Florida. The Firm is
registered annually with the Florida Department of Business
and Professional Regulation - Board of Accountancy. Rachlin
is also registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight
Board (PCAOB).
|

During the course of any engagement, an audit
partner, as well as the quality control partner, will perform
a detailed review of all workpapers and financial statements
to ensure that the work is performed in accordance
with professional standards, firm standards
and the requirements of the contract.
|

Rachlin participates in an external quality peer
review program requiring an on-site independent
examination of the Accounting and Auditing practice.
Rachlin has consistently received an unqualified
opinion on the quality of the Firm's audit practice.
This is the highest level of achievement and recognition
in the peer review program.

|

Rachlin provides a minimum of 40 hours of
continuing professional education (CPE) in-house,
annually to all professional staff. These seminars
include sessions in governmental accounting, auditing
and financial reporting, including Yellow Book, single
audit and other accounting and auditing issues.
In addition to this in-house training, Rachlin partners
and professional staff attend various outside seminars.
