Partner Morris Hollander appointed chair of Florida International University's Council of 100

MIAMI, FL — Morris Hollander, a partner at Rachlin LLP, was recently appointed as chair of the Florida International University (FIU) Council of 100. The FIU Council of 100 is a group of professional, business and civic leaders in South Florida who promote the university’s academic programs, activities and achievements in the community as well as assist FIU in securing private financial support.

“Morris’s appointment reinforces his commitment to the success of FIU and its students,” said Rachlin managing partner Lawrence Blum. “His support of FIU also aligns with one of our firm’s core values, giving back to the community.”

“We are very excited to have someone with Morris’s enthusiasm and dedication to be chairing the Council. We look forward to the new ideas and growth his appointment will bring,” said Randy Mora, Assistant Development Officer for the Council of 100 and Corporate Relations at FIU.

In his role as chair of the FIU Council of 100, Mr. Hollander will lead a team that partners with the university’s president, provost and deans. The Council of 100 bridges the areas of academia, community and industry to ensure that FIU graduates are prepared for current and anticipated challenges in specific professions. In addition to securing much-needed funding, the Council of 100 also supports the Outstanding Faculty Award.
