Valentine’s Day TLC Gift Drive


In 2007, the Rachlin Foundation launched a new Valentine’s Day initiative to bring love and hope to children living in shelters. Rachlin delivered individual backpacks, filled with age-appropriate books and stuffed animals to make abandoned and neglected children feel special and remembered on a day when they are usually forgotten.

Following the delivery, Rachlin received a heartfelt note from T. Robert Giese, president of the Children’s Home Society of Florida Foundation saying, “To my knowledge, this is the first time a corporation has been so insightful at such a special time of the year.”
