Rachlin Partners Address Dissolution of Marriage Disclosures at AAML Meeting in Orlando
Miami, FL—Jose Marrero and Barry Mukamal, partners at Rachlin LLP, one of largest independent accounting and advisory services firms in the southeast, will be featured panelists at the 30th Annual Institute of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) on May 9 in Orlando.
Marrero and Mukamal will participate in a discussion entitled, “Fear and Loathing: Taxes, The Fifth Amendment and the IRS.” The panel will be led by Miami attorney Andrew M. Leinoff, a board certified Marital and Family Law attorney and partner in the law firm of Leinoff & Lemos, P.A. They will be joined by Miami tax attorney Robert Panoff to address dissolution of marriage proceedings and the importance of properly disclosing income, assets, liabilities and offshore accounts. The panel will discuss how to avoid criminal and civil exposure the parties to any dissolution of marriage proceedings, as well as the attorneys representing the parties. The potential exposure to all concerned will be addressed, including possible criminal, civil and malpractice exposure, and alternatives to resolving any potential; disputes between the parties.
