Rachlin Welcomes New Partner
MIAMI, FL - Rachlin, the largest independent accounting firm in South Florida, is pleased to
announce the addition of Marta Alfonso, CPA, to its Litigation Support service area.
Alfonso has more than 20 years of experience practicing in the areas of litigation support, forensic
accounting, and financial and operational reorganization. She has served as a court appointed receiver
and has testified as an expert witness in state litigation matters.
"With more than 20 years experience in a vast array of litigation consulting and business operations,
she is a wonderful addition to our growing litigation/insolvency team," says Lawrence H. Blum,

Alfonso's litigation support and forensic accounting experience includes pursuing and defending
cases involving claims for damages, fraud and embezzlement, asset tracing, accounting fraud and
white collar crime. She serves clients in the financial services arena, healthcare, insurance,
retail and transportation industries.
She earned her Master's of Business Administration degree from Florida International University,
her Bachelor's of Business Administration and Accounting degree from the University of Florida,
as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami.
Alfonso is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association
of Certified Fraud Examiners, Florida Bar Association and American Bar Association.
