Lee Mandell has been a practicing attorney for more than 25 years. He concentrates his expertise
on representing accountants and related accountant professional liability issues.
As in-house counsel for Rachlin, he is charged with maintaining the legal wellbeing of
the firm. He oversees all risk management functions as chairman of the firm's Client
Acceptance committee, and he serves as chairman of the firm's Business Development committee.
He is of counsel to the firm's Executive Committee, including all partner meetings.
Mr. Mandell has experience handling corporate, banking, real estate, not-for-profit and
commercial legal matters. In his litigation practice, Mr. Mandell was involved in issues
concerning professional malpractice, commercial transactions, collections, banking, real
estate, admiralty litigation, securities and commodities.
He also served as Assistant
Attorney General for the State of Florida, where he argued death penalty cases in front
of the State of Florida Supreme Court.
